Dan's Slowplay Pays Off
Level 4
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Matteo Delfanti opened in middle position to 900. Adrian Dan in the big blind was the only caller.
Dan checked the A♣J♦5♥ flop, and called Delfanti's subsequent bet of 1,200.
The action slowed on the turn, with both players checking the 9♦.
After the river came the 3♦, Dan bet 3,300. Delfanti thought for a few seconds before making the call. Dan tabled J♣5♣ for two pair, causing Delfanti to muck his hand.
