Nine-High Like a Boss For Orpaz
Level 22
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Tom Orpaz limped in from the small blind and Conor Beresford checked his option.
The flop came 10♣K♥K♣ and Orpaz led out for 80,000. "I don't have a king," he told Beresford, who called to see the Q♦ turn.
Both players checked to the 2♥ river, where Orpaz led out for 125,000. Beresford began twirling his chips between his fingers as he tanked for a moment before folding.
Orpaz then turned over 9♣5♦ for a bluff.
"What am I doing?" Beresford muttered to himself.
"Call with your ace," Orpaz replied as Beresford admitted he folded jack-high.
