Lococo Leaves O'Dwyer on Fumes With Big River Raise
Level 2
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Alejandro Lococo opened to 2,500 in early position before Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 9,000 in the cutoff. Lococo called to see the A♦K♠Q♥ flop.
O'Dwyer then bet another 10,000 and Lococo called. Both players checked the 4♦ turn.
Lococo also checked the 3♣ river and O'Dwyer bet 32,000. Lococo clasped his hands together as he leaned over the table and used a time bank before emerging with a raise to 116,000.
O'Dwyer buried his face in his hands as he agonized over the decision, eventually committing the chips to call. Lococo turned over J♠10♠ for the flopped straight and O'Dwyer mucked.
