Barsegyan Calls Down Beresford, Takes Out Ding

Eduard Barsegyan raised to 15,000 in the small blind and Conor Beresford defended his big blind.

The flop came 5♦4♠7♥ and Barsegyan checked to Beresford, who bet 12,000. Barsegyan called to the 3♠ turn.

Beresford then bet another 37,000 and Barsegyan called once more. Both players checked the K♠ river and Barsegyan showed 6♥4♥ for a straight to win the pot.

A few hands later, Biao Ding got his last 40,000 in the middle on a board of 5♥7♠K♠10♥ and Barsegyan had him at risk with K♥10♦ for two pair. Ding was already drawing dead holding K♦2♦ as the 7♥ river only served to make his elimination official.
