Woodhead's Ace Outkicks Shylkou's Ace
Level 13
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Stanislau Shylkou opened to 5,000 from the cutoff and was called by Stephen Woodhead in the big blind.
Both players checked on the 4♥8♦2♣ flop and then Woodhead led out for 4,500 on the 6♠ turn. Shylkou called.
The 4♠ completed the board and both players again checked. Neither player looked like they wanted to show and Woodhead turned over A♣9♣. Shylkou showed he held Ax3x for an ace with a lower kicker and mucked — conceding the pot to Woodhead.
