Lau Cracks Lafleur's Queens
Level 21
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
With a flop of J♠9♣6♥, Sammy Lafleur was seen with all of his stack of about 400,000 in the middle against Ka Kwan Lau and both hands were on their backs.
Sammy Lafleur: Q♥Q♦
Ka Kwan Lau: 6♦6♠
Lafleur had an overpair to the board but was in trouble as Lau flopped a set of sixes. The 8♥ turn and K♥ river were no help for Lafleur though as he exited the tournament.
