Adams Finds A Set On The Flop

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Once again, Hassan Nashar opened from under the gun to 5,000 without looking at his cards. In the cutoff, Timothy Adams called, but Nacho Barbero on the button three-bet to 25,000. Nashar called, as well as Adams.

On the flop 352, Nashar took the lead, betting 29,000. Adams called, but Barbero folded.

The K came on the turn, and Nashar quickly fired a second barrel of 57,000. Once again, Adams made the call to find the 10 on the river, where he moved all in.

Nashar, who checked, went into the tank. "I only saw one card," he said. He took his second card, looked at it, and snap-called.

Hassan Nashar: KQ
Timothy Adams: 22

Nashar discovered a good kicker with his king, but it wasn't enough against Adams' flopped set. With approximately 80,000 chips, Nashar was covered and was eliminated.

Mokri Back In The Game

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

"Raise blind," announced Hassan Nashar from under the gun, putting 10,000 chips in front of him. Felipe Ketzer in the cutoff called, and Kayhan Mokri moved all in for his last 7,500 chips.

On 6Q379, Nashar and Ketzer checked all the way through, and they flipped their cards after the river.

Kayhan Mokri: 22
Hassan Nashar: A4
Felipe Ketzer: K4

Quite surprised, Mokri discovered that his pair held, and he tripled up. Nashar's ace-high was good for the side pot.

Sixes Good for Benitez

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Erik Seidel raised 6,500 on the button and Francisco Benitez defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of K103, and Benitez check-called a bet of 9,000 from Seidel.

Both players checked the A turn and the 2 river. Benitez tabled 66, which was good as Seidel pushed his cards toward the dealer.

Nashar With Aces

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

"Five thousand," said Kayhan Mokri from under the gun to raise.

"Thirty thousand," responded Hassan Nashar, seated on his left.

All the other players folded to Mokri, who went all in. Nashar called, being the player who was at risk with 100,000 chips.

Hassan Nashar: AA
Kayhan Mokri: 55

"I can't believe you have aces," said Mokri, while all the other players were laughing.

The situation didn't change after the board 92K89, which gave Nashar a flush to double up.
