Thibault Letort found himself all in and at risk in a preflop confrontation against Araz Azady who had a covering stack.

Letort was in great shape to double up with a bigger ace but the 9♠8♠6♦ gave Azady a plethora of outs in the form of the nut-flush draw. The 8♣ turn was clean but Azady spiked a three on the 3♦ river to send Letort to the rail close in tough fashion close to the money bubble.

Elsewhere in the tournament area, Antoine Labat was also eliminated.

Majid Ejlal Noubarian opened to 8,000 from under the gun and Toru Ida defended from the big blind.

The flop came A♠J♠4♣ and Ida check-called a 6,000 continuation bet from Noubarian.

Both players checked the 8♠ turn leading to the 9♥ river. Ida moved all in for 25,000 prompting a fold from Noubarian.

Meanwhile, Olga Iermolcheva was recently eliminated.

With two players seeing a board of A♥A♠Q♣7♥ and about 30,000 already in the middle, Carl Shaw checked from early position, Alex Peffly bet 15,000 and Shaw made the call.

The river was the 7♠. Shaw checked, Peffly bet 28,000, and after about 45 seconds Shaw made the call.

Peffly tabled K♠Q♦ for two pair, aces and queens while Shaw revealed 9♦7♦ for a rivered full house to further extend his chip lead over the rest of the field.

Lehner was ahead with an ace and remained so on the 7♦2♣10♦ flop and 9♥ turn. Shaw spiked a pair on the Q♦ river to send Lehner to the rail and add even more chips to his stack, which is one of the biggest in the room and is currently approaching 400,000.

Ivaylo Sivinov opened to 5,000 from the button and Georgios Vakis defended from the big blind.

Both players checked the A♣5♠J♣ flop leading to the A♥ turn. Vakis checked, Sivinov bet 5,000 and Vakis made the call.

Vakis checked again on the 8♥ river and Sivinov bet 14,500. Vakis raised all in for 32,000 total and after briefly considering his options Sivinov decided to call.

Sivinov revealed 9♣9♦ while Vakis tabled A♦2♦ for trip aces to secure the full double up.

Meanwhile at another table, Ren Lin was recently eliminated from the tournament.
