$10,200 Mystery Bounty
Day 1 Started
The PokerStars European Poker Tour has reached its next destination with a debut visit to Northern Cyprus. The series is running at Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa today through Sunday, October 22.
First up on the live reporting schedule is the $10,200 Mystery Bounty, which commences this evening at 7 p.m. local time. Players will start the Mystery Bounty with a stack of 100,000 chips. Day 1 will run for eight 30-minute levels, with blinds kicking off at 500/1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante. A 20-minute break is scheduled at the end of Level 4.
Day 2 starts October 12 at 12:30 p.m. and late registration remains open until the end of Level 10, which will be around 1:30 p.m. There's only a single reentry available in the event, so players will have to make each bullet count as they aim to make the money. Approximately 15 percent of the field will be paid.
Of the total buy-in, $5,000 will go towards the bounty prize pool, with mystery bounty tokens coming into play Thursday at the start of Level 13. Bounty prizes will not be confirmed until after the close of registration, but it is expected that the largest bounty will be worth $100,000.

Aliaksandr Hirs raised to 2,500 from under the gun. He was called by Ramon Kropmanns, Aleksandr Chernikov, and Marcelo Manfredini in the big blind.
The flop came 7♣Q♠9♥. Manfredini checked to Hirs, who made it 3,500 to go. Kropmanns called, Chernikov folded, and Manfredini called.
The turn was the 6♠. Action checked to Kropmanns, who bet 16,000. Only Manfredini made the call.
The river came the 5♦. Manfredini checked, Kropmanns bet 37,000 and Manfredini called.
Kropmanns showed A♠10♠ for a busted flush draw and Manfredini flipped over 9♣6♥ for two pair to win a significant pot early on.
