Marques Picks Off Bedir

Christoforou Three-Bets Mateos Twice, With Differing Results

On the first hand back from break, Adrian Mateos raised to 35,000 in early position and Andreas Christoforou then three-bet to 100,000 in middle position.

Mateos called and both players checked the 10109 flop. The turn came the 5 and Christoforou bet another 100,000. Mateos quickly sent his cards away.

The next. hand, Mateos again raised to 35,000 and Christoforou put in 100,000. Mateos called and the players yet again checked the A5J flop.

The turn was the 8 and Mateos led out for 170,000. Christoforou used a time bank before calling as Mateos shot a look over at his opponent heading to the 3 river.

Mateos then moved all in for 510,000, sending Christoforou into the tank. He stopped to take a sip from his tea and used two more time banks before mucking AK.

The rest of the field had already left the room to go on break as Danil Rafikov, Tamas Adamszki, and Nicolas Vayssieres went three-handed to a 63A flop.

Rafikov then bet 60,000 from early position and Adamszki called in the cutoff, as did Vayssieres in the small blind.

The turn came the 2 and Rafikov bet another 200,000. Adamszki quickly folded and left the table, but Vayssieres slid forward a tower of blue 5,000 chips to call.

The 6 fell on the river and Rafikov then moved all in for around 400,000 more. Vayssieres instantly picked up his cards and slammed them on the table as he surrendered the pot.

Sidhu Shoves the River on Nazarov

Kuljinder Sidhu raised to 25,000 in early position and Dmitrii Nazarov called in the hijack.

Sidhu again called and the Q fell on the river. Sidhu then instantly moved all in for 150,000 and Nazarov quickly slid his cards into the muck.
