Baurzhan Akimov opened in late position to 300,000 before action made it to current chip leader Guillermo Gordo in the big blind who called.

The 6♥10♦9♥ flop landed and action checked through to a 8♠ turn. Gordo took the opportunity to lead out for 225,000 and got called.

The 2♦ landed on the river and action slowed back down and checked through. Gordo tabled A♦9♦ and Akimov knuckled the tabled and then mucked.

Gordo dragged yet another pot on his way to the overall chip lead.

The 7♣ fell on the river and Van Der Swaluw moved all in for 3,170,000; more than enough to put Haidar to the test for his remaining 2,800,000. Haidar remained in the tank for some time before making the call.

Baurzhan Akimov moved all in from under the gun before it folded to Aziz Efe in the small blind. He sat in the tank and pondered a call long enough that the clock was called. Before time expired he put in the call and the cards hit their backs with Akimov at risk.
