Simon Ranke opened the action from early position before Marius Iftimia put in a three-bet from the hijack. Action folded back to Ranke, who moved all in for around 12,000 and Iftimia quickly called as the bigger stack.

Georgi Sandev raised to 2,000 from under the gun, Julien Sitbon three-bet to 6,000, in early position, and Anatoly Korochenskiy moved all in for 15,000, from the cutoff. Sandev folded and Sitbon went into the tank.

"I'm not happy" Sitbon laughed as he asked for a count. Eventually settling on a call, the cards were tabled.

Cankurtaranli went from needing a nine to a ten as the Q♦J♠8♣ flop gave him a gutshot straight draw. However, he failed to improve on the 3♦ turn and K♣ river and was eliminated.

After Cankurtaranli departed, Langfeldt explained that Cankurtaranli had recently made a move a move with seven-deuce which influenced his decision.

Dario Sammartino opened to 1,400 from the cutoff and called when Takahiro Tsugu three-bet to 5,600 from the small blind.

The Q♠10♣9♠ flop checked through to the 10♥ turn and Tsugu fired for 3,500. Sammartino made it 10,500 and was called.

Tsugu checked on the 2♦ river, and after some thought, Sammartino moved all in for 21,300. Tsugu wasn't thrilled about the spot but called as the slightly bigger stack.

Sammartino had 10♦7♦ for trip tens and the winner while Tsugu had A♦A♥, which then went into the muck.
