From the hijack, Martin Ilavsky opened to 2,000 and was called by the cutoff and the button. In the small blind, Sachin Joshi squeezed to 11,000. Gaelle Baumann, in the big blind, folded and then Ilavsky moved all in for more than 70,000.

The cutoff and the button folded, but Joshi chose to call.

Kolev moved all in as the big stack, and Rezaei, with 36,600, called for his tournament life. Nashar got out of the way.

Kolev had Rezaei dominated and looked certain to scoop in the pot after the 10♠4♦5♣ flop and 7♥ turn. However, the Q♠ river gave Rezaei the winner and breathed some new life into his stack.

Chisu check-called for 1,500 on the J♣8♠5♠ flop which brought in the 7♠ turn. Both players checked and the 9♦ completed the board.

Chisu bet 2,800 and was quickly called. He had two pair with his 9♣7♣, but Tessier had a straight with his 6♣6♥.
