Daher's Prayers Don't Go Answered

Albert Daher raised to 40,000 in the cutoff, then folded when Sam Greenwood three-bet to 285,000 in the small blind.

Daher again opened to 40,000 the next hand and Greenwood called on the button, as did big blind Artur Martirosian.

The flop came 5♦5♠5♥ and Daher continued for 85,000. Greenwood called and Martirosian folded.

Both players checked the 9♦ turn and Daher tanked for nearly a minute before checking the A♦ river. Greenwood then bet 160,000.

"I was praying no ace," Daher said with a sigh as he mucked. "I will bet that's ace-queen," he added as Greenwood took the pot.
