Kyte Scoops Huge Pot With Aces

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jon Kyte raised to 2,600 from early position and Eugenii Ushakov called. Adrian Chabbi three-bet to 9,000 then Fedor Burmistrov four-bet to 23,000. Kyte flat-called the four-bet and the rest of the table folded.

The flop came 9♠J♦9♦. With the pot already well inflated, Burmistrov bet 17,000 and Kyte called.

The turn was the 4♦. Burmistrov moved all in and Kyte called for his remaining 14,300 chips. Burmistrov showed K♥Q♦ for a missed draw. Kyte showed A♣A♥ for two pair, aces and nines.

The river was the 2♠ and Kyte held to scoop a huge pot and bring his stack up to around 125,000.

PokerNews caught the tail end of the action as Mehdi Chaoui and Boris Kolev were in a hand together.

The pot stood at approximately 10,000 as the board read 4♠3♦10♣8♥. Kolev, in the big blind, checked the action to Chaoui, in early position. Chaoui placed a bet of 6,200 which sent Kolev's card into the muck.

Pavel Yakobson raised to 2,500 from the cutoff. Artsiom Lasouski three-bet to 12,000 from the big blind and Artsiom Lasouski called.

Lasouski continued for 7,000 on the A♦4♣Q♥ flop. Yakobson made the call.

The 2♠ turn slowed down Lasouski. Yakobson took the lead for 8,000 and Lasouski check-raised to 20,000. Yakobson elected to fold.

A player in early position raised to 2,500, Candido Cappiello three-bet to 7,800, in middle position and Jack Sinclair moved all in for 37,900, from the hijack. The original raiser folded and, after receiving a count, Cappiello made the call.

The board ran out 2♣K♦Q♣7♦4♥. Cappiello paired his queen to pull ahead, ultimately sending Sinclair to the rail.
