Taherkhani Shoves Out Tessier, Busts Kraous

Anton Kraous was already all in as Kanan Taherkhani and Benjamin Tessier built a side pot on a 5♥A♦Q♣ flop and 14,000 in the middle.

Tessier then bet 16,100 from the button before Taherkhani moved all in for 23,000. Tessier folded to leave Taherkhani heads-up with Kraous.

Kraous was already drawing virtually dead as Taherkhani showed a flopped set. The A♠ turn left Kraous without any hope as the 6♦ completed the board.

"Jacks," Taherkhani asked Tessier after the hand. Tessier shook his head.

"Kings," Taherkhani continued.

"Maybe," Tessier replied.

From under the gun, Milos Petakovic raised to 1,500, and was called by the cutoff, the button and the small blind.

In the big blind, Anthony Kennedy squeezed to 7,500. But Petakovic chose to four-bet all in for 31,000. All the other players folded, except for Kennedy who almost flipped his cards before calling.

Robinson Doubles Munteanu, Takes Some Back

Lukas Robinson opened to 1,200 from middle position and was called by Harald Sammer on the button. Bogdan Munteanu then moved all in from the small blind for 23,900.

Robinson took a moment before moving all in himself, forcing Sammer to fold and leaving Munteanu at risk.

The flop of 9♥6♣Q♣ left Munteanu in front, while the 3♠ turn and 3♣ river cemented his double up.

Robinson then opened the next hand to 1,200 and was promptly three-bet by Munteanu to 3,600. The call was made to see the K♥K♠10♦ flop, where Robinson check-called a bet of 2,500.

Both players checked the J♠ turn before Robison led out on the 5♠ river for 4,000. Munteanu made the lay down, giving some of his chips back to Robinson.

Vieira folded, but Da Silva called to see the 3♥8♥K♣ flop. Blanco then continued for 1,700 and Da Silva called.

Both players checked the J♥ turn before Da Silva led out for 7,500 on the 6♦ river. Blanco quickly called, only to be shown A♥9♥ for the nut flush as Da Silva took the pot.

With around 20,000 in the pot on a board of 10♦Q♣3♦9♥, Majid Noubarian led out for 9,000 in the big blind and Peter Jorgne called from the hijack.

The river came the 2♣ and Noubarian then moved all in for 16,500. Jorgne quickly gathered the chips to call and put them in the middle.

Noubarian instantly got up from his seat and turned over A♠K♣ for ace-high, while Jorgne showed 8♥8♠ to win the pot. A few players applauded Jorgne's call as Noubarian headed off to the rail.

"Nice call," a tablemate said to the EPT Paris runner-up.

On the flop 10♠A♣A♥, Cohen made a continuation bet of 1,000, but only Trattou called. Both of them checked the turn 3♠, and moved on to the river 2♠.

Cohen bet 2,000, and Trattou check-called but mucked his cards after "Ratman" revealed A♥7♥ for trips.
