Mulder Teaches Pamukcu a Lesson

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Hakan Pamukcu raised to 8,000 in early position and was called by Ali Zebarjad in the cutoff before small blind Teun Mulder moved all in for 60,000. Pamukcu then reshoved for around 55,000.

"Alright, let's do it," Zebarjad said as he called, having both players covered.

Hakan Pamukcu: AQ
Teun Mulder: A10
Ali Zebarjad: AJ

Mulder found himself third-best until the flop came 1063, giving him top pair and the lead. The board ran out 310 and Mulder finished with a full house to double off Zebarjad, while sending Pamukcu to the rail.

"So that's how you guys do it. I'm learning," Pamukcu said after the hand.

"Good luck. You need it more than me," he added before heading to collect his payout.

Petleshkov Hurts Yalciner; Joyce Takes Out Ammar

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Viliyan Petleshkov and Metin Yalciner went to the river on a completed board of 959J8 when Yalciner bet 60,000 from the cutoff.

Petleshkov then moved all in for 245,000 on the button, sending Yalciner deep into the tank. He eventually folded KJ after several minutes.

Petleshkov flashed the 7 as he took the pot. "That hurts," Yalciner said with a laugh.

At the same time at another table, Mohamed Ammar was all in for around 70,000 from under the gun and up against big blind Toby Joyce.

Mohamed Ammar: A10
Toby Joyce: KJ

Joyce paired his jack on the QJ4 flop while Ammar picked up a straight draw. He improved no further, though, on the 6 turn and 7 river and was sent to the rail.

Pudel Calls Off Light

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action folded to Andrea Dato in the small blind who raised enough to put Nils Pudel all in from the big blind. Pudel only had around 14,000 remaining and agonized over the decision for a moment before tossing in his last chips.

Nils Pudel: 42
Andrea Dato: A9

"I only looked at one," Dato told him, first revealing his ace. The flop came Q910 and Dato made a pair to leave Pudel drawing incredibly thin.

The A fell on the turn and Pudel was left drawing dead heading to the 6 river and he was sent to the rail.

Bubble of the EPT Cyprus Main Event Bursts as Andras Vaczo is Eliminated in 200th Place

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Andras Vaczo
Andras Vaczo

Andras Vaczo open-jammed his stack of 46,000 chips in the middle from under the gun and Kim Wittendorff made the call from the hijack with the covering stack. The rest of the table folded their hands and the two players showed down in front of all the cameras.

Andras Vaczo: AK
Kim Wittendorff: KK

The 677 flop was not very hopeful for Vaczo's big slick, but the Q turn brought him a flush draw. However, the K river gave his opponent a full house instead, eliminating Vaczo from the Main Event.

He was the last player to leave without any money in his pocket, as the rest of the field is now guaranteed the minimum cash of $8,325 that comes with finishing in 199th place.

Zakharov Loses Flip for Tournament Life; Stone Bubble Time

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Nicolas Chouity
Nicolas Chouity

Nicolas Chouity raised from early position before Dmitry Zakharov three-bet jammed all in for 48,000 from the small blind. Chouity quickly called and once all other tables had finished their hands and the media had arrived, the cards were tabled.

Dmitry Zakharov: QQ
Nicolas Chouity: AK

The flop fell 4KA and Chouity shot in the lead with his two pair. However, he wanted a sweat and called for the jack of clubs to arrive on the turn. The J was close and it did bring Zakharov some extra outs. They did not arrive, however, when the 8 river finished the board, leading to Zakharov's elimination in 201st place.

A table was broken shortly after and hand-for-hand continued on the stone bubble of the EPT Cyprus Main Event.
