A sizable pot of 38,000 chips had been created in a heads-up battle between Aleksejs Ponakovs in the small blind and Jules Dickerson on the button. The board read 3♠Q♥10♠9♠ and Ponakovs checked to Dickerson, who bet out 11,000 chips.
After thinking for a while, Ponakovs made the call and the 9♦ river completed the board. Both players now knuckled the table and Ponakovs tabled 8♠8♣. His pocket pair was good enough to win the pot as Dickerson mucked his cards.

Paulius Plausinaitis and Sam Greenwood, who is on his second bullet of the day, were on a flop of Q♥J♠3♥. Plausinaitis checked to Greenwood from the big blind, and the latter bet 6,000 chips into the pot of 9,5000 from under the gun. Plausinaitis called and did so as well for the 15,000 bet Greenwood put out on the 8♦ turn.
The river then fell the 10♦ and both players checked. Plausinaitis was first to show and tabled Q♦9♥ for a rivered straight, causing Greenwood to throw his hands in the air in frustration while gesturing at the board.

"Bluff?" inquired Mokri.
"I will never bluff against you again", clarified Mateos, leading to laughter from the Norwegian.

The very active Gha Iakobishvili got involved in the action once again when he raised to 3,500 from the hijack before Jules Dickerson put in the reraise to 13,000 from the button. The action folded back to Iakobishvili, who made the call.
The flop of 10♠9♥5♠ saw Iakobishvili check-call a 14,000 bet from Dickerson before he took the lead on the 9♠ turn by firing a small bet of 6,500. Dickerson pondered his option but ended up making the call and the pair saw the 3♣ river roll off.
Iakobishvili now put in an even smaller bet of 5,000 and Dickerson went into the tank again. This time, he came out with a raise to 55,000, and now it was Iakobishvili's time to think the hand over.
Eventually, he made the call but swiftly mucked his hands when Dickerson showed A♠Q♠ for the ace-high flush.
