Beresford Gets Grafton and Doubles
Level 22
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Conor Beresford open-shipped from the cutoff for 625,000. The action folded to big blind Sam Grafton who obliged with a snap call.
Conor Beresford: 8♦8♣
Sam Grafton: K♦K♠
Beresford requested clubs, but only one appeared on the A♦6♠7♣ flop. The turn brought him something better than a club though, namely the 8♥.
Beresford's set held as the 5♦ completed the board and he doubled despite Grafton's complaints.
