Suvarna Busts Second €100K Bullet

Santhosh Suvarna opened to 6,000 from under the gun before Adrian Mateos made it 18,000 on his direct left. Action folded to Stephen Chidwick, who four-bet to 44,000 from the button. Suvarna used up a time chip before shoving for 276,000. Mateos quickly folded and Chidwick thought about it and called for his tournament life.

Suvarna, who was on his second bullet, only had Chidwick covered by 500. The 8♦4♦2♥ flop kept Chidwick ahead but Suvarna picked up a flush draw to go along with his overcards. The 9♠ turn and 4♥ river sealed the checkmark for Chidwick and reduced Suvarna to crumbs.

Suvarna was then forced all in the following hand but would end up chopping the pot to stick around for one more throw of the dice.

Chidwick opened to 5,500 from the hijack before Vicente Delagdo and Alex Kulev folded from the cutoff and button, respectively. Suvarna was all in for 1,000 from the small blind and Mateos folded his big blind.

Suvarna paired up on the K♣9♠8♥ flop to take the lead, but was the underdog once more after Chidwick made a pair on the 10♦ turn. The 3♣ completed the board and Suvarna found himself on the wrong side of the rail for the second time today.
