The river completed the board with the 5♠ and the flush draw. Liperis contemplated it for a few seconds and then fired a bet of 1,400,000 out. Pu asked for a confirmation of the amount and the dealer confirmed. He took a bit of time and then flicked in a chip for the call.
Liperis tabled the 8♥7♠ for the turned straight to claim the pot as Pu mucked his hand.
