Takushi Shiratori Eliminated in 24th Place (€10,200)

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Takushi Shiratori
Takushi Shiratori

Takushi Shiratori was all in for his last 450,000 chips versus Yiannis Liperis, who covered him.

Takushi Shiratori: AJ
Yiannis Liperis: AK

Liperis' Big Slick dominated Shiratori's ace-jack. The board of 7658 presented some split-pot outs, but the Q river decided the hand in Liperis' favor.

Shiratori was the first player to take his leave after the final three tables redraw and takes home €10,200 to Japan.

Regonaschi and Okamoto Double Up

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Florian Guimond opened to 120,000 in early position and Marco Regonaschi shipped all in for 830,000 on his left. It folded back to Guimond who asked for a count before making the call.

Marco Regonaschi: KJ
Florian Guimond: 99

The flop came QJ3 and Regonaschi hit a pair of jacks to take the lead. The 4 and 7 runout changed nothing and Regonaschi doubled through one of the leaders.

On the next hand, Tom Orpaz raised to 120,000 and Shiina Okamoto shoved all in for 360,000. Orpaz called with J7 but was up against the A9 of Okamoto. The board ran out K6410A and Okamoto also doubled up.

Aksoy Last to Leave Before Final Three Tables

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Tinay Aksoy went all-in for 570,000 from the small blind after an open from the button. Marton Czuczor was in the big blind and asked for a count.

After he heard the correct number, he was in the tank for a couple of minutes before coming up with a call to put Aksoy at risk.

Tinay Aksoy: A5
Marton Czuczor: A9

Czuczor immediately flopped a pair on 8910 and the turn 3 had Aksoy drawing dead. The 2 river was dealt as a formality while Aksoy said his goodbyes.

The remaining 24 players will now have a redraw for the final three tables.

Duzgun and Benoliel Find Doubles

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

At one table, Samiyel Duzgun moved all in from the small blind for 755,000 and Tinay Aksoy snap-called from the big blind. Duzgun tabled A8 but was dominated by the AK of Aksoy.

However, the board ran out 85238 and Duzgun made trip eights to score the double up.

Next door, Sam Benoliel shoved all in for 310,000 in middle position and was called by Florian Guimond on the button. Benoliel was in a flip with AQ against Guimond's 33. On the 885K5 board, Guimond's pocket threes were counterfeit, giving Benoliel a double up as well.

Lupino Triples as Alt Busts

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Sim Kok Wai opened to 120,000 from the cutoff before Dinesh Alt went all in for 790,000 from the small blind. Marco Lupino was in the big blind and thought for a while before announcing his own all in for 670,000.

Wai was intrigued by the situation, repeating several times that ''this hand has been doing very good for me today.'' Eventually, he decided that that was enough reason to call as well, creating a three-way all-in situation in the late stages of the High Roller.

Marco Lupino: QQ
Dinesh Alt: 55
Sim Kok Wai: 99

All three players had a pair, with Lupino having the highest one. The 2332J runout did nothing to change that fact and Lupino secured his triple-up, while Alt was forced to leave the tournament area. Lastly, Wai received a consolation prize in the form of a small side pot.

Guimond Out-Kicks Odani

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The action folded to Takumi Odani on the button who shipped all in for 1,030,000. Florian Guimond was in the small blind and reshoved all in as the bigger of the two stacks.

Takumi Odani: A3
Florian Guimond: A10

The flop of AKK put Guimond comfortably in the lead even though there were potential chop outs. The 3 on the turn and the 5 on the river meant Guimond's kicker would play and Odani was eliminated.

Guimond Gives Benoliel the Bad News

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Florian Guimond made the minraise to 100,000 from middle position and Antonio Calabro and Sam Benoliel called from the blinds. The flop was dealt K8Q and all three players checked.

The turn fell 4 and Benoliel took the betting lead after a check from Calabro. He bet 100,000, but none of the other players were done with the hand yet as they both called.

The river paired the board with the 8 and Benoliel shoved some stacks forward for a bet totalling 250,000. Guimond spent some time in the tank pondering the situation but eventually made the call.

Calabro quickly folded and Benoliel triumphantly tabled his J8 for rivered trips. His mood would soon sour, however, as Guimond played A8 for the same trip eights, but with a better kicker.

''Encroyable'', Benoliel repeated a few times while mourning his lost chips.

Ace from Space

Level 26 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Chun Keat Liu raised to 100,000 under the gun and Wagner Ripper called from the big blind. The flop fell 662 and Ripper checked to Liu who bet 65,000. Ripper check-raised all in for 315,000 and Liu snapped him off.

Wagner Ripper: A7
Chun Keat Liu: 99

The 10 on the turn got Ripper out of his seat but the A on the river allowed him to sit back down. Ripper spiked a three-outer in order to stay alive.
