Daniel Dvoress Eliminated In 6th Place (€220,800)
The action was picked up in a heads-up pot with just over 500,000 in the middle on a completed board showing 7♥3♣2♥8♠2♦. Daniel Dvoress bet out 650,000 in the small blind, leaving a single 5,000-chip behind. Mikita Badziakouski quickly announced all in from the big blind and Dvoress snap-folded his cards.
Two hands later, Dvoress moved in for his last 5,000 and both Ben Heath and Steve O'Dwyer played from the blinds. The flop came A♠10♠4♦ and action checked to the J♦ turn. Heath led out for the minimum and O'Dwyer called.
The K♣ completed the board and both players checked to a showdown. Heath showed J♥7♣ and Dvoress tabled K♥8♦ but was no good against the A♥6♥ for O'Dwyer who took the pot. Dvoress was eliminated and would have to settle for the sixth place payday of €220,800.
