Nikiforov was looking for deuce to stay alive in the €25,000 High Roller, and he was immediately presented with one on the 4♠5♠2♣ flop. Now it was Ladew who needed to hit to get at least a part of this pot. However, the J♦ turn and 6♥ river bricked for him and he doubled up his opponent.

Both players are now hovering around the 20 big blind mark.

Ben Heath opened to 6,000 from under the gun and Michel Dattani put in a three-bet to 18,000 from middle position. The rest of the table got out of the way and Heath announced all in, well covering the 94,000 total for Dattani, who quickly called for his tournament life.

Patrik Antonius raised his button to 7,000 before Pablo Silva three-bet to 20,000 from the big blind. Antonius then put his opponent all-in by putting enough chips in the middle to cover his stack of roughly 100,000. Silva snap called and the two showed down.

Silva was in good shape for a double-up, but the A♦4♥3♥ saw him drawing to two direct outs. No king or chop came about as a pair of sixes completed the board: 6♦6♠.

Antonius added another 100,000 to his tower of chips while Silva took his leave with 8 tables remaining.

Erik Seidel opened the action to 5,500 in middle position and only Felipe Ketzer made the call in the hijack.

The flop came A♦K♥J♦ and Seidel continued for 8,500, which Ketzer called. On the 4♦ turn both players checked their options to the 9♣ river.

Seidel took a few seconds before tossing out a bet of 25,000 and Ketzer quickly folded his hand.

The flop was 2♥9♥5♠ and Mateos check-called a 7,000 bet from Nitsche to see 6♣ on the turn.

Both players checked the turn and 8♠ appear on the river. Mateos fired 28,000 and Nitsche thought about it before he gave up the pot.

Enrico Camosci and Barak Wisbrod were battling over a pot worth 18,500 chips. They were on a flop of 3♠5♠3♦ and big blind Wisbrod check-raised Camosci's bet from the button to 16,000. Camosci threw in the extra chips required, and a A♦ turn was dealt.

Wisbrod now fired again, this time for 25,000. Once more, Camosci made the call.

On the Q♠ river Wisbrod used one time bank extension before betting a notably small 10,500. Camosci did not waste much time as he almost instantly called.

Wisbrod showed A♠5♣ for two pair and Camosci tabled A♥5♥ for the same two pair. The players chopped the pot as some chuckling ensued on the table.

The next hand Ben heath open-raised to 5,000 and got everyone to fold. He has won a large sum of chips since the break ended, adding over 200,000 to his already big stack. He now sits on over 11 starting stacks, and looks to be atop the leaderboard.
