Watson Makes Quads to Oust Pardo; Seidel Also Gone
Level 19
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Juan Pardo was all in for around 100,000 against table chip leader Mike Watson.
Juan Pardo: 7♣7♠
Mike Watson: A♠3♠
It wasn't a flip for long as the flop landed 2♣3♣3♦ to give Watson trips and he only improved as the runout of Q♥3♥ gave him quads to mark Pardo's elimination.
"Jesus Christ," reacted table mate Jason Wheeler.
Around the same time, Poker Hall of Famer Erik Seidel was eliminated in 49th place for €17,250.
