Mokrani Takes One on the Turn

Mohamed Mokrani raised to 750,000 out of the small blind and Antony Marchetti let go from the big blind.

The next button for Mokrani triggered a raise to 700,000 and Wagner Ripper tanked for more than two minutes to then call from the big blind, having cut out a stack of T-100,000 chips before changing his mind.

Both players checked the flop and the fell on the turn. Ripper checked again and then faced a bet worth 800,000 by Mokrani. A mere ten seconds later, Simeon Spasov called the clock on Ripper but the request was denied, Ripper folded a couple of seconds later.

Simeon Spasov was looking down at a stack of less than four big blinds when he made a shove from the small blind. Mohamed Mokrani called in the big blind and players showed their hands.

The board ran out . This gave Spasov a pair of queens on the turn and his hand held up for the double.

Ripper Draws Closer to Mokrani

Mohamed Mokrani raised to 600,000 on the button and Wagner Ripper defended the big blind after some consideration. Ripper opted to check the flop and Mokrani continued for 450,000.

After some 30 seconds, Ripper announced a raise and pushed forward 1,050,000. Mokrani folded and told his opponent "jack is good" after he was offered to pick one card.

One hand later, Ripper jammed out of the small blind into the big blind of Simeon Spasov and forced a fold from the Bulgarian, who was left with fewer than four big blinds behind.

Mohamed Mokrani raised to 600,000 from the hijack and Wagner Ripper went all in for a little over 3 million chips. Simeon Spasov iso shoved for 4.9 million and Mokrani folded. Two players flipped their cards and stood up at their chairs. Players on the rail gathered around to witness the moment.

The board ran out and Ripper's pocket tens held for the double up. Spasov's stack, meanwhile, was reduced to just over five big blinds.

Jon Kyte Eliminated in 5th Place (€80,500)

Antony Marchetti was one of the players to jam up the stack and he surpassed Jon Kyte, who had to forfeit his blinds and big blind ante. Down to 2,100,000, Kyte jammed on the button and Marchetti reshoved from the very next seat to isolate.

"Barry Greenstein one time," Kyte demanded after he had gathered with his rail. The wish came true with the flop but Marchetti and his French rail exploded when the case jack hit with the turn.

Kyte now needed another miracle with one of the two remaining aces in the deck. That was not the case as the river knocked out the Norwegian in fifth place for €80,500.

After four all-in without call, the next open-shove of a shorter stack saw Simeon Spasov move his chips forward. Cedric Massaro called all-in for 1,825,000 from the very next seat and all other players got out of the way.

Massaro and his rail started celebrating when they saw the in the window but were silenced right away when the followed, giving Spasov broadway and the nut flush draw. It was all over on the turn and the river ended Massaro's run in 6th place for €61,900.

Jon Kyte pushed all-in out of the small blind into the big blind of Antony Marchetti. The Frenchman tanked for nearly two minutes and folded.

Soon after that, Kyte raised to 500,000 on the button and Marchetti folded in the small blind. Wagner Ripper jammed for 3,425,000 in the big blind and Kyte asked for a count, however, folded soon after.

Marchetti then jammed for 1,550,000 with Ripper asking for a count but the next preflop shove also got through.
