Mhiri Eliminated by Noja

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Danielle Noja
Danielle Noja

Emil Bise is the big stack over on table 16 and Danielle Noja became the next player to increase their stack in an all-in showdown.

He called the shove by Chakib Mhiri on the {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts} river with the former showing {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for a missed straight and flush draw. Once Noja exposed his {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for a rivered kings up, he was quite flustered to say the least before heading out of the tournament area, repeatedly shaking his head.

Heude Takes One With River Lead

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Jakob Miegel raised cutoff to 1,200, Tal Herzog called on the button and Ludovic Heude called in the small blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} and all three players checked.

The turn came the {5-Diamonds} and Heude led out for 1,600. Miegel called and Herzog folded. The river was the {8-Spades}. Heude quickly led out again with a bet of 2,700 and took it down with no resistance from Miegel.

Rubiralta Doubles Through Ropert

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Gerard Rubiralta
Gerard Rubiralta

Corentin Ropert had started well into the day and nearly doubled his stack in the process but lost nearly half of that when he got it in preflop against Gerard Rubiralta.

Gerard Rubiralta: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Corentin Ropert: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Until the {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs} turn, Ropert had a wheel draw on top of his one overcard but the {6-Clubs} river was a blank. Rubiralta doubled for 28,000 to put a dent into Ropert's stack.

Souvay Wins Three-Way Pot

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Just before the end of the level, a three-way pot with plenty of chips in the middle unfolded. The board showed {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Eric Souvay checked out of the big blind. Tommi Lankinen did so as well from under the gun and Frits de Boer bet 8,500 on the button.

Souvay tank-called and Lankinen was then also sent into the tank before he sigh-folded. De Boer shook his head and flashed the {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a missed open-ender while Souvay won the pot with the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}. "Also king jack," Lankinen mentioned in the table chat.

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Dominik Panka
Dominik Panka

Dominik Panka made a cutoff raise, Helene Jullien reraised from the big blind and Panka shoved all in for his remaining 6,400 chips. Jullien called and the cards were on their backs.

Dominik Panka: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Helene Jullien: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Panka was far behind as the cards were turned, but the board ran out {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades} to give him a pair of aces and much needed double-up.

Abdullah Al-Shanti: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Darie doubled for 16,200, leaving Al-Shanti on two blinds.

Pora Wins Battle of Romanians

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Sergiu Covrig raised to 1,000 and was then three-bet to 4,000 by fellow countryman Dumitru Pora. The call by Covrig led them to the {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop on which both players checked before the {4-Diamonds} turn and {7-Spades} river brought no betting action either.

Pora revealed the {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines and that won the pot.
