Dario De Paz had amassed a stack of 986,000 after felting an opponent with a set of aces against a set of sevens, however, his monster stack quickly disappeared after a costly mistake.
Mathieu Rabalison opened to 20,000 from early position and was called by Herve Mary from the button.
De Paz then moved all in. Rabilson called as the slightly bigger stack and Mary quickly folded.

It was the biggest pot of the tournament so far and De Paz was dominated.
The flop kept Rabalison ahead but the turn gave De Paz a wheel draw. The completed the board and De Paz was distraught about the outcome.
He looked vacant as he left the table, which had attracted a crowd at this point.
Mary and Rabalison were adamant that De Paz didn't see the Rabalison's open and that's how the chips went into the middle.
Rabalison won a pot north of two million and is the clear chip leader.

Mosca hit a set on the flop and it looked like he would bust Davo's aces. A heart on the turn and another on the river gave Davo the runout he needed, giving him the flush and the double up.
Jean Labryga opened to 50,000 from under the gun before Thibault Reverdito three-bet to 150,000 from early position. Labryga called.
Labryga then led for 200,000 on the flop and was called. The checked through to the river. Labryga decided to lead again for another 200,000 and was quickly called.
Labryga had the for a pair of queens but the pot went to his opponent who had for a pair of aces.
The second of four days in the €1,100 France Poker Series FPS Paris Main Event has wrapped up with just 61 remaining after the day began with 470 players. Leading the way is China's Aiguo Xu with a stack of 3,745,000, followed not far behind by fellow big stacks Vasyl Zabrodskyy (2,540,000), Alan Goasdoue (2,540,000) and Mario Re (2,330,000).
The tournament has already been one to remember as it drew a record-breaking 2,071 entrants, besting the previous FPS Main Event record of 1,918 runners set at 2022 EPT Prague. The eventual champion will take home the trophy and top prize of €287,830, while each returning player is guaranteed a payday of at least €4,570.
Some notables who survived to see Day 3 include Julien Sitbon, Kenny Hallaert, Gianluca Speranza and Day 1 chip leaders Joey Weissman, Jean Labryga and Loic Vaux.

As the surviving players from the three starting flights combined on Day 2, it didn't take long for hundreds of players to bust to bring the field down to a few dozen tables. Some of those who made early exits include Antoine Labat, Jason Wheeler, Zhong Chen, Dinesh Alt and PokerStars Team Online Pro Lasse Jagd Lauritsen.

Just a few hours earlier, the cigarette-toting David Sacksick fell when he got in a blind versus blind raising war and and five-bet shoved with queen-three only to be called by the pocket queens of Adi Rajkovic.

But some of the day's bluffs were successful, including one where Duc Quy Nguyen bluffed two streets with just jack-high to take a pot off Vasyl Zabrodskyy.
Day 3 will kick off at noon on Level 24 with blinds of 15,000/30,000/30,000 as the field gets closer to a winner, who will be crowned on Day 4.
