Nicolas Vayssieres
Nicolas Vayssieres

Ariel Sebban opened to 1,000 from middle positon and was called by Nicolas Vayssieres and Laszlo Molnar from the cutoff and the button. Fatih Aydin and Frits de Boer also called from the blinds.

So, it was five-ways to the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and action checked through to the {5-Hearts} turn. De Boer led out for 2,400 which folded out Sebban. Vayssieres called and then Molnar made it 9,200. Aydin quickly folded and De Boer followed suit but Vayssieres called again.

The {2-Diamonds} river completed the board and Vayssiers led out for 10,100. Molnar toyed with his stack before calling.

Vayssieres tabled his {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the nut flush and Molnar mucked.

Thomas Channell
Thomas Channell

Sacha Zaffran opened to 1,100 from early position before Thomas Channell three-bet to 2,600 from the hijack. Zaffran then jammed for 17,500 and was snap-called.

Sacha Zaffran: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Thomas Channell: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

The {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Spades} runout was drama-free and Channell collected the pot while sending Zaffran to the rail.

"Twice now," commented a stablemate, regarding the number of times Channell had picked up pocket aces.

"Four times, I just didn't get paid twice," replied Channell.

Loeliger Fares Better on Reentry

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Paulina Loeliger, better known as ''Poker Bunny,'' is already on her second bullet today in the main event of EPT Paris and she is sitting on a healthy stack worth more than two and a half starting stacks. On her new table, she opened to 1,100 from early position and Igor Picone called from the big blind.

The flop spelled {10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Picone checked to Loeliger. Loeliger put out a continuation-bet of 800 and Picone responded with a check-raise to 3,200.

Loeliger called the raise and the players saw the {k-Clubs} turn, on which they both elected to check.

The river {4-Clubs} brought the fourth club on the board and Picone saw reason to bet 2,100 into Loeliger. Loeliger thought for a minute or so and checked her cards several times. Ultimately, she folded her hand and Picone won the pot.
