Schultz-Pedersen Gets it Right Back

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Johan Schultz-Pedersen
Johan Schultz-Pedersen

In a limped pot in the blinds, Brian Delaney and Johan Schultz-Pedersen did battle again.

On the {6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop, Delaney check-called a bet of 60,000 from his Danish opponent to see the {k-Spades} come on the turn.

After another check, Schultz-Pedersen sized up to 400,000 which again got called by Delaney.

The players opted to check the {2-Diamonds} river, with Delaney then showing {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for a pair of sixes, but Schultz-Pedersen revealed {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a turned two pair and the winner.

Harry Lodge: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Saar Wilf: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Spades} and Wilf held on with Big Slick to eliminate Lodge from the tournament in 13th place for €71,150.

Gutsy Move Earns Held More Chips

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Konstantin Held
Konstantin Held

Konstantin Held raised to 125,000 from under the gun and then folded when chip leader Razvan Belea jammed out of the big blind.

One hand later, Mathieu Di Meglio raised to 125,000 on the button for Held to quickly call in the big blind. The {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop was checked by Held, who then faced a bet of 80,000 by his opponent. What followed was a check-raise to 320,000 by Held and that sent Di Meglio deep into the tank.

Four time banks were used by the Frenchman before he flat-called and they headed to the {8-Clubs} turn. Held now used a time bank extension himself and moved all-in for Di Meglio to ask for an exact count. The all-in was for 1,155,000 and Di Meglio sigh-folded.

Held grabbed his cards, showed them to Belea and then exposed the {5-Spades}{2-Spades} for a gutshot straight flush draw. "I knew you had something like that," Belea mentioned in table chat.

Delaney Bluffs Before Break

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Brian Delaney
Brian Delaney

Mathieu Di Meglio raised to 125,000 under the gun and was called by Brian Delaney in the small blind and Johan Schultz-Pedersen
in the big blind.

On the {8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop, the trio all checked to the {4-Hearts} turn. Delaney came out firing for 340,000, sending Schultz-Pedersen's cards to the muck, but Di Meglio called.

On the {j-Spades} river, Delaney moved all in for just under a million effective which sent Di Meglio into the tank through the start of the break.

As time expired on his final time bank card, Di Meglio pushed his cards to the muck and Delaney turned over his {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a missed straight draw he had turned into a bluff.

Spekman Surges Ahead of Bigot

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Denzel Spekman opened the action with a min-raise to 160,000 in the hijack and was called only by Fabrice Bigot in the big blind after the Frenchman had inquired about the stack size of his opponent.

The {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop was checked by Bigot, who then called a bet of 80,000 by Spekman. After the {8-Spades} turn, Bigot check-called another 260,000 and then bet the {10-Diamonds} river for just 150,000 a few seconds after his 30-second shot clock had run down.

Spekman double-fist raised to 575,000 and Bigot folded.

Saar Wilf
Saar Wilf

In a limped pot in the blinds, Saar Wilf led out for 80,000 from the small blind on the {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop and was called by Mehdi Chaoui in the big blind.

The turn brought the {q-Spades} and Wilf bet again, this time for 200,000. Again Chaoui called, and the dealer laid the {j-Diamonds} on the river.

Wilf now checked and Chaoui bet 200,000 himself. Wilf used a time bank before electing to call.

Chaoui showed {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for missed straight and flush draws, while Wilf showed {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a flopped pair of eights which held up to be the winner.
