Hissou and Adams Double Up

Level 15 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Sirzat Hissou was the shortest stack in the room and got the last of his chips in the middle for around 200,000. He was called by Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind and they were coin flipping.

Hissou tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} while O'Dwyer held the pair with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}. The board ran out {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and Hissou's two pair was good for a double-up.

On the next hand, Juan Pardo raised to 55,000 in the hijack and Timothy Adams three-bet to 185,000 in the big blind. Pardo four-bet shoved all in and Adams quickly called off his last 620,000 chips.

Timothy Adams: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Juan Pardo: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} to give Pardo the best hand but Adams also picked up a flush draw. The {3-Clubs} on the turn changed nothing but it was the {6-Diamonds} on the river that gave Adams a flush and he also doubled up.
