Tsui Gets the Better of Big Stack Maliuta
Level 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Mykola Maliuta opened to 2,400 from under the gun. Justin Tsui raised to 6,500 in early position and was called by the Ukrainian.
The 2♦9♣A♠ flop was checked by Maliuta, who then called a bet of 4,000, as Tsui continued his aggression.
Maliuta checked once more as the 5♣ landed on the turn. This time, Tsui made it 11,000, which saw him get a fold from his opponent. The Englishman chipped up to well above average stack, while Maliuta still sat on a big stack of 125,000.
