Level 20
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Catalin Moraru opened the action from early position to 30,000. The only caller was Marian Fridrich in the small blind.
The flop came 8♥K♦4♥ and Fridrich checked it to Moraru. The Romanian led out for 16,000 but was check-raised by Fridrich to 55,000. Moraru called and they went to a turn.
It came the K♥ and both players checked.
The 3♣ river sparked no further action as both players checked it down. Moraru showed 9♦9♠, while Fridrich took a decent-sized pot as he tabled A♠A♥.
