The 6♠8♦3♣ flop gave Sturba a gutshot-straight draw, which came in on the 7♦ turn and left Abbey drawing dead.

An irrelevant 4♦ completed the board and Sturba doubled up.

Hanseok Ko opened to 4,000 under the gun and only Andrej Tekel made the call from the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of K♠Q♠2♦, and once checked, Ko fired a bet of 3,500 across the line.

Tekel put in a check-raise to 14,000. Ko took a few seconds and re-raised to 35,500 which was enough to force Tekel to muck his hand.

William Kassouf opened to 6,000 from the hijack and action folded to Luca Murgia in the big blind, who shoved for 42,500 total.

"I don't know how you play, I just sat down," Kassouf said as he pondered a call. "I'd rather be the one shoving, not calling."

Kassouf eventually called, leaving himself just 500 behind to put Murgia at risk.

Kassouf was well ahead with his tens, but the A♣A♦9♣ flop improved Murgia to a full house and left Kassouf drawing slim.

The 3♠ turn and K♠ river failed to improve Kassouf and Murgia doubled up.

Mats Ullereng raised to 4,000 from the button and Marcin Dziubdziela three-bet to 16,000 from the big blind. Ullereng put in the extra chips and a flop of 10♣K♠8♣ appeared.

Dziubdziela continued for 7,000, which Ullereng called. Another bet from Dziubdziela then followed on the A♥ turn, this time for 17,000.

Ullereng took some time before committing the same amount to the pot for a call, and the 7♦ river rolled off. Dziubdziela went for it all and put his entire stack of 41,000 in the middle, and a quick call followed from Ullereng.

Dziubdziela showed K♥K♣ for a flopped set of kings, and that was enough to trump the two pair of Ullereng, who played A♠10♠.

Ullereng was left with less than ten big blinds, and they would soon be transferred to another player as well, resulting in his elimination.

Willy Murgolo opened to 4,000 form middle position, and was called by Alvaro Gomez in the cutoff. But in the small blind, Eros Calderone three-bet to 13,500. Murgolo folded, then Gomez shoved to force Calderone to go all in for a total of 21,500.

Calderone was on the edge of elimination after the flop of J♣Q♠4♥ was revealed. But he was lucky enough to hit a runner-runner flush thanks to the turn 6♠ and the river 3♠ to double up.

When the A♥J♣6♠ flop hit the felt, Vella check-called a bet of 2,000.

The 7♦ fell on the turn, and Vella checked once again before Chrysovergis continued for 6,500. Vella thought about it for a couple of seconds and slammed a small stack of blues across the line for a raise to 30,000. Chrysovergis quickly mucked his hand.
