Raising War Sees Reusch Victorious

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jon Clark kicked off the action with a raise to 2,500 from early position. Frederik Reusch then three-bet to 7,500 from the hijack and the action folded back to Clark.

Clark made it 21,300 to go, but that was not enough for Reusch, who put out a tiny five-bet to 37,500.

Clark did not ponder long before letting his hand go, forfeiting the pot to Reusch without the need for additional cards on the table.

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

David Marcos Lomba opened 2,500 under the gun, and Manuel Valduga three-bet 6,400 in the cutoff. The action quickly folded back to Lomba and he made the call.

When the K hit the turn, both players tapped the table to see the K river. Lomba jammed for about 27,000 and Valduga's cards flung into the muck.

Micallef Amasses More Chips

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a flop of 9Q4, Matthew Micallef checked to Petr Zalsky, who then went on to make a bet of an unknown amount. Micallef called and the J turn was dealt.

Micallef checked again and Zalsky put in 12,500 chips. Micallef responded with a jam, and Zalsky quickly threw in his entire stack of around 30,000 chips to put himself at risk.

Petr Zalsky: JJ
Matthew Micallef: K10

Micallef's straight held as the 5 river did not upgrade Zalsky's set to a full house. Zalsky headed to the exit while Micallef chipped up further, playing more than three times the average stack.
