Accused Private Poker Game Cheater: "I Didn't Bring Any Cards Anywhere"

One day after being accused of cheating a California home game out of millions, Tony Mars issued a statement to PokerNews denying the allegations.

Wesley Fei and Nikhil "Nik Airball" Arcot, both Hustler Casino Live regulars, claim that Mars, who also plays on HCL, brought a special UV-marked deck that allowed him to decipher face-down cards.

The alleged scandal occurred in a game at a private residence in Yorba Linda, California, a community in Orange County.

Oleksii Chernikov raised to 1,200 from early position and Guangwei Ren reraised to 3,700. Chernikov then four-bet to 7,200 and Ren called.

The flop came 6♥J♣8♦. Chernikov continued for 12,000 and Ren made a raise for the rest of Chernikov's stack. Chernikov called all in for 22,800 and players revealed their cards.

Ren showed Q♦Q♣ for pocket queens, an overpair to the board. Chernikov, however, flipped K♠K♥ for pocket kings.

The turn came the 5♣ and the river was the 6♠. Chernikov held to double up his stack.

Antoine Vranken raised to 700 from early position, Christian Masselkhi called, then Grigorios Chrysovergis three-bet to 3,400 from the button. Both Vranken and Chrysovergis called the raise.

The flop came 3♠A♠A♣. Action checked to Chrysovergis, who continued for 2,000. Only Vranken made the call. The turn was the Q♦ and both players checked.

The river came the K♠. Vranken checked and Chrysovergis fired out a bet of 6,000. Vranken found the fold and Chrysovergis won the pot.
