PokerStars has unveiled the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which shows five destinations, including a return to EPT Paris and EPT Cyprus. Both Paris and Cyprus made their EPT debut in 2023, and they return for 2024, much to the delight of the players.
EPT Paris is the first stop of the 2024 European Poker Tour season. It takes place between February 14-25 at a new venue. The stunning Le Palais des Congres has a 120-table capacity, meaning there will be a more extensive schedule for the festival. Cedric Billot, Associate Director for Live Events and Operations, believes the new-look EPT Paris could be one of the largest EPT festivals on record.

Ercan Atmaca limped on the button. The small blind also limped, while Ricardo De Andrade checked to go three ways to the flop.
It came 3♥2♦8♥, and all three players checked.
A 9♣ on the turn sparked the action, with the small blind first leading out for 20,000 and then De Andrade raising to 100,000. Atmaca called the raise, while the small blind folded.
The K♦ river was checked through by both players. Atmaca flipped over 9♥J♠, while De Andrade tabled 5♦4♦. Atmaca took it down with a pair of nines to add to his monster chip stack.

The action is joined late with Konstantinos Stroulis all in on the button for his tournament life. Felix Schneiders calls in the small blind, with both players short on chips.
Konstantinos Stroulis: 5♣4♣
Felix Schneiders: 8♠8♥
The flop came 9♦2♠6♠, giving Stroulis a straight draw - needing a three to beat Schneiders pair.
An A♣ on the turn didn't help Stroulis as he faced exit from the tournament.
The J♣ river confirmed the hold for Schneiders, gaining some much-needed chips as the end of Day 2 crept up.
