Vasylchenko's Eight-High Bluff Gets Through
Level 20
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
The action is folded around to Elias Gutierrez who limps in from the small blind with J♣5♣. Oleg Vasylchenko checks in the big blind with 8♣6♠ and it went to a flop.
Gutierrez led out for 40,000 on the flop of 7♣Q♣4♦ and Vasylchenko made the call.
A 7♠ on the turn prompted a check from Gutierrez, before Vasylchenko made it 100,000 to call. The Spaniard did, and they saw a river.
An A♦ completed the board, and Gutierrez checked his missed flush draw. Vasylchenko bet 350,000 with six-high and got an instant fold from Gutierrez.
