Higgins Building a Big Stack

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Nozomu Shimizu opened to 12,000 from under the gun and was called by Tsugunari Toma from early position, Simon Higgins from the small blind, and Dimitar Danchev in the big blind for a four-way pot.

Action checked to Shimizu on the AJK flop and he continued for 12,000. Everyone called.

The 7 fell on the turn and it was checked to Toma, who bet 55,000. Higgins called and everyone else folded.

Higgins led out for 75,000 after the 5 completed the board and Toma looked him up.

Higgins tabled AJ for aces up and Toma mucked — awarding the sizable pot to Higgins.

Kayhan Mokri opened to 18,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 53,000 by Alejandro Lococo in the big blind. Mokri called.

Mokri called a 42,000 bet from Lococo on the Q36 flop and then Lococo bet enough to put Morki all in for his last 130,000 after the 4 came on the turn.

"I have ace-nine, but I really don't believe you," Mokri said as he pondered a call.

After a bit of chatter and using up mutliple time extensions, Mokri commited the last of his chips into the middle.

Alejandro Lococo: KK

Lococo held the goods and Mokri was drawing to three outs. The 5 river bricked out and Lococo took the rest of Mokri's chips.

"F***. I don't wanna play poker with you," Mokri joked as he exited the tournament area.

Vasylchenko Catches Lococo's Bluff to Double

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Oleg Vasylchenko was heads-up against Alejandro Lococo on a board of A27J. Lococo checked from the small blind and Vasylchenko checked on the button.

The 10 completed the board and Lococo checked to Vasylchenko, who bet 95,000. Lococo check-raised all in and Vasylchenko called all in for his last 201,000.

Lococo could only show Q6 for a bluff and Vasylchenko turned over A10 for two pair, which was more than enough for the double up.
