Saout Avoids Cracked Kings on the River
Level 20
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Antoine Saout moved all in for 81,000 in early position and Fabian Schmidt called in the big blind.
Antoine Saout: K♣K♦
Fabian Schmidt: Q♣J♥
The Q♦J♣4♥ flop was a disaster for Saout as Schmidt hit top two pair. The 3♠ turn left him one card away from elimination, but the 3♥ river gave him a higher two pair and a double up.
