Chisu Loses Chips

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Danut Chisu raised to 16,000 from the hijack and the action folded to Yevhen Dzhura in the big blind, who made a three-bet to 40,000 chips. Chisu called and they saw a flop of 457.

Dzhura check-called a 30,000 bet from Chisu before leading out for 55,000 on the A turn. Chisu called this time and the 6 river was cordially checked down.

Dzhuhra showed AQ for a pair of aces, and it won against the A9 of Chisu, who played a lower kicker and had missed his flopped flush draw.

Bojovic Ships Enourmous Three-Way Pot

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Three players went to the river on a board of 4KQQ3. The pot contained 330,000 chips when Luka Bojovic slid forward a bunch of chips, totaling 140,000.

Yevhen Dzhura thought it over for a bit before making the call, after which Jon Ander Martinez let out a big sigh before folding what he would later claim was a good queen.

Bojovic showed 44 for a full house and Dzhura's cards hit the muck. By winning the pot, Bojovic could count himself among the chipleaders of the Eureka High Roller.

Silva Chips Up by Busting Murphy

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Pablo Silva
Pablo Silva

Thomas Murphy open-raised to 20,000 from the hijack before Pablo Silva three-bet to 60,000 from the small blind. Murphy then jammed all in for 155,000 when the action was back on him, and Silva made the call with the covering stack.

Thomas Murphy: JJ
Pablo Silva: KQ

Murphy flopped a set on 10AJ, but Silva had the better hand with a straight. The board did not pair on the Q6 runout, meaning that Murphy was eliminated from the High Roller.

Wheeler's Bad Start Continues as Laroche Flops Quads

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jason Wheeler
Jason Wheeler

Tim Schmitt was all-in for only a few chips, and Alexis Laroche put his slightly bigger stack in as well. Jason Wheeler looked them both up with the covering stack, leading to a three-way showdown.

Tim Schmitt: K10
Alexis Laroche: 44
Jason Wheeler: Q2

Laroche had an almost certain victory when the flop came 44K. Wheeler was already drawing dead, and no runner-runner miracle happened for Smith as the J turn and Q river completed the board.

After losing some chips earlier in the day, Laroche was back to what he started Day 2 with. Meanwhile, Wheeler has lost the majority of his stack so far, sitting on 18 big blinds as play continued.

Logarzo Fails to Make First Break

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Giovanni Logarzo pushed in his last 52,000 chips from the cutoff and was looked up by Tamer Kamel on the button, who had the covering stack.

Giocanni Logarzo: A3
Tamer Kamel: KQ

Kamel flopped the better pair on K43. Neither player improved on the J6 runout, which meant that Logarzo was forced to leave the tournament area.

Kamel, on the other hand, had quadrupled the stack he started Day 2 with in the first three levels.
