Plausinaitis Cracks Top Set to Double
Level 5
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
With around 30,000 in the pot on a flop of 8♣9♦Q♠, Masato Kashiwabara bet 7,000 from the cutoff and Paulius Plausinaitis called under the gun.
The turn was the 10♣ and Kashiwabara bet 20,000. Plausinaitis then moved all in for 45,500 and Kashiwabara called with Q♦Q♥ for top set.
Plausinaitis, though, had A♣J♥ for a straight and held on through the 6♦ river to double up.9
