Ruggeri Picks Off Kyte's Triple Barrel Bluff

Jon Kyte, from the small blind, opened to 625,000 from the small blind and Umberto Ruggeri called from the big blind.

Ruggeri check-called for 450,000 and 1,350,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read J♠6♣3♥Q♥6♥

Kyte fired out 2,500,000. Ruggeri had 3,200,000 behind, and he called off the majority of his stack as his shot clock neared zero.

Kyte was caught speeding with A♥5♣, and Ruggeri had the winner with J♦10♣ to leave Kyte at the bottom of the counts.

O'Neill checked on the 2♦10♥J♦ flop and Kyte bet 700,000 with his open-ender and two overcards. O'Neill called with his pair of tens.

Both players checked after the 2♣ fell on the turn and O'Neill bet 600,000 on the 6♣ river. Kyte tanked for a while, but eventually opted to lay his hand down and O'Neill collected the pot.

Ruggeri and O'Neill Smash the Flop

Both players smashed the Q♦7♣4♠ flop, with Ruggeri's top pair behind O'Neill's bottom two. The Italian check-called for 300,000.

On the 10♦ turn, Ruggeri check-called for 800,000, which brought in the 9♣ river. A third check came from Ruggeri before O'Neill sized up to 1,800,000.
