Mark Helou raised to 65,000 under the gun and received three callers - Jon Kyte in middle position, Grigorii Rodin in the cutoff, and big blind Dejan Jakovljevic.
The flop came 5♦3♣8♦ and Helou bet 100,000. Kyte and Rodin called, while Jakovljevic folded.
The A♦ fell on the turn and action checked to Rodin who bet 245,000. Helou called and Kyte folded.
Both players checked the 4♦ river and Helou turned over A♠Q♥ for top pair. Rodin showed 7♣6♣ and the dealer was about to push the pot to Helou until Rodin pointed out he had rivered a straight.
"Very lucky guy," Kyte said.
"I knew he had nothing on the turn," Helou replied.
