Hagstrom's queen kicker remained ahead after the 2♠4♣6♠ flop, but Kraous connected on the 7♣ turn to take the lead. The 9♥ river was a blank, earning Kraous the double up.

Salih Atac opened the action to 1,600 and faced two callers in Tom Cohen and Dorian Melchers.

The flop came 3♥8♣J♥ and Atac continued for 2,500 and got one caller in Cohen.

The turn card was the Q♥ and both players checked to the river of the J♣ where Cohen this time decided to take control and led out for a small sizing of 1,200. Atac thought it through and then announced a raise of 9,300 which in turn got the fold from his opponent.

Action folded to Tuan Tran who exclaimed; "I win the tournament from one big blind, just watch."

He put his remaining 800 chips in and David Kaufmann checked his option in the big blind.

The runout of 4♦K♥J♦3♣7♦ gave Kaufmann two pair and left Tran with one pair, eliminating him from the tournament.

Kaufmann Takes From Fournier

Emil Hovmark opened from under the gun to 2,000 and was called by David Kaufmann in the cutoff. Samuel Fournier then slid out a three-bet to 6,500, with Hovmark folding and Kaufmann making the call.

The 7♥4♠9♣ flop saw Kaufmann check-call a continuation bet of 4,000 from Fournier. Kaufmann checked again on the A♥ turn, calling once more after a bet of 7,000 from Fournier.

Both players then checked the A♣ river, with Kaufmann showing 8♠7♠ to take the pot with two pair as Fournier mucked.

Eugenio Bastos opened to 2,000 and found two calls from Marcos Thielke and Fabio Peluso.

The three players saw a flop of A♦9♦9♣ and the action checked around.

The turn card came A♣ and Thielke led out for 2,500 and found only the original raiser Bastos with the call.

The river came Q♥ and both players checked and showed their cards: Thielke had 3♣3♦ and Bastos had 10♦10♠.

Thielke suggested a split pot and the dealer at first was chopping up the chips until the table pointed out the winning hand was for Bastos. "It nearly worked," said Thielke with a big smile.

Andersson Attacks Flop

Action picked up on the flop of 2♣5♥10♣ with a bet of 2,100 from the button by Maxim Sheingart.

Fredrik Andersson in the big blind reraised to 5,200, which prompted Miroslav Alilovic to fold in middle position.

Sheingart also tossed his cards into the muck and Andersson scooped the pot.

Silz Sees a Call

Maximilian Silz opened to 1,800 in the hijack and found calls from the two players seated directly to his left.

On the 4♠5♥9♥ flop, Silz slowed down with a check. Yvan Breccolini checked in the cutoff as did Suhan Guler on the button. The 3♥ turn saw Silz fire a bet of 2,500, producing a fold from Breccolini. Guler took his time, even grabbing raising chips at one point before making the call.

Silz led out again for 9,500 on the 9♣ river. Guler took another couple of minutes before deciding to toss in the call. Silz flipped over K♣9♠ for trip nines, taking down a big pot as Guler mucked.
