Kawasaki Claims Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Osman Aksu opened to 500 in middle position and the action folded to Michio Kawasaki, who defended the big blind.

Kawasaki checked the J73 flop to Aksu, who bet 700. Kawasaki called and the dealer flipped the 3 turn.

Both players checked and the 6 arrived on the river. Another round of knuckles and Kawasaki tabled 44 for two pair. Aksu mucked leaving Kawasaki the pot.

Smith Yearns for the Mines

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Michael Smith raised to 400 from middle position before Mikolaj Zawadzki three-bet to 1,900 from the small blind. Smith put in the extra chips and the pair saw a flop of 8A10.

Zawadzki made a continuation-bet of 1,200 and Smith called once more. The 10 turn and 7 river were then checked by both players, after which Zawadzki showed 98 for two pair with tens and eights.

Smith played a higher two pair with his KK, and the pot was sent his way.

"I was set mining," Smith explained his preflop call while he was stacking his chips.

Ghashayar Gets the Fold From Cohen

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The action was opened by Simon Brandstrom to 500 and Lucien Cohen made the call only to face a three bet from Iman Ghashayar to 2,100. Both players made the call and the three players went to the flop of 3KQ that they all checked around.

The turn card brought the Q to pair the board and Cohen led out for 2,000. Ghashayar again did not waste much time in three betting his opponent and Cohen one of the characters of any EPT went into the tank. Eventually Cohen made the fold and Ghashayar chipped up.

Koleno Folds Trips

On a very Nordic table with Robin Ylitalo, Thomas Syversen and Peter Jorgne seated around the table, Stanislav Koleno was into the tank from middle position after Pascal Vos shoved for 13,000 on a board of 4AA56.

13,300 chips were already in the pot, and Koleno was really struggling to make a decision. But after more than one minute, he eventually folded A10 face up. "Show the bluff" he asked. But Vos threw his cards into the muck and scooped the pot.

Docherty and Hupe Befriend Each Other

David Docherty and Damien Hupe had gathered 5,000 chips preflop when Docherty checked the 5810 flop from the big blind and Hupe followed suit from under the gun.

The 3 turn and 2 river were also knuckled by both players. Docherty showed AK, while Hupe played the same hand with AK.

"Belgium-Scotland friendship," Hupe exclaimed gleefully.

"Tell everyone I have 40,000," Docherty requested shortly after the hand finished.

A Four-Bet Pot for Osti

After the player under the gun opened to 500, Jules Dickerson to his left three-bet to 1,600. All the other players folded to Mercedes Osti in the small blind, who four-bet to 4,100. The under the gun player folded, while Dickerson called.

Both players checked the 8J5 flop. But on the turn 9, after Osti checked, Dickerson bet 5,000.

Osti called, then lead out for 6,000 on the river K. But Dickerson quickly folded.

Grafton makes the fold

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action started with Sam Grafton opening things up to 600 and quickly saw a three bet from Jose Gonzalez to 2,800, Grafton made the call.

The flop came 1046 and Gonzalez continued for 2,500 and again Grafton made the call.

The tun brought the J and a bet from Gonzalez eventually got the fold from Grafton wearing an OG Arsenal shirt.

Trips Over Trips

On the board of 5K6K, Maksym Filipovskyi check-called a 5,000 bet from Catalin Moraru on the turn.

Filipovskyi, who was under the gun, checked again to Moraru, who bet 15,000.

After a minute in the tank, Filipovskyi tossed in calling chips and Moraru flipped over AK for trip kings.

Filipovskyi tabled the K but mucked his kicker card.
