Borlan Wins Flop Battle

Following an open raise to 1,600, Ihor Hula three-bet to 4,400 from late position, and Dan Serban Borlan four-bet to 9,300. The original raiser folded and Hula made the call.

The flop came 2109. Hula checked and Borlan continued for 4,000. Hula check-raised to 8,400, then Borlan reraised to 40,000, putting the pressure on for the rest of Hula's stack. Hula folded with just 13,000 behind and Borlan scooped the pot.

Tamrazov Runs Into Ace-King

Sergii Tamrazov raised, Thomas Eychenne three-bet, and Tamrazov moved all in for 16,000. Eychenne made the call with the bigger stack and players flipped their cards.

Anton Morgenstern opened to 1,600 from under the gun and was called by Max Neugebauer from the cutoff.

Action checked all the way through to showdown, and Neugebauer's 88 was best on the Q94J3 board.

Neugebauer announced himself to the wider poker world last month, winning the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event for a staggering €1,500,000.

Also at the table is PokerStars' Alejandro Lococo, who has just over three starting stacks.

Kasper Doubles Up

After he won a €25,000 event three days ago and finished second in a €5,200 PLO yesterday, Ole Schemion jumped in the Main Event. He found at his table Miroslav Forman, who opened to 1,800 from the cutoff.

Antonio Scalzi called from the button, then 2023 EPT Paris finalist Henri Kasper moved all in for 16,400 in the small blind. Forman asked for the count and called, while Scalzi folded.

Kasper flopped two pair on a board of KJ676 to secure a double up. The table broke a few minutes later.

Early Pot for Nizzardelli After Dinner Break

Michele Nizzardelli opened the action and faced a three bet from Simeon Spasov to 4,400 and made the call.

The flop came 47Q and it was Nizzardelli who led out for 800 and this time Spasov just made the call.

The turn brought the J and a bet again from Nizzardelli to the tune of 2,300 this time got his opponent to fold.

Coknez Catches Trips

On a completed board of 23Q6Q, with around 6,000 chips already in the middle, Halil Coknez led out for 4,000 from the small blind.

A quick call followed from his opponent, Maximillian Silz in middle position. Coknez showed Q9 for rivered trips and Silz quickly mucked his hand upon seeing the cards.
