Jakovljevic Hits Deuce to Double

Dejan Jakovljevic raised his button to 45,000 and was faced with a three-bet to 155,000 from big blind Tobias Garp.

Jakovljevic thought for a bit before shoving his 740,000 stack in the middle, after which Garp immediately flicked in a calling chip to put Jakovljevic at risk.

Jakovljevic had made a move preflop but was looked up by the dominating ace of Garp. However, Jakovljevic sprung ahead on the 2♦J♥6♦ flop, and his bottom pair remained the best hand on the 8♥10♣ runout.

Jakovljevic doubled up while Garp was left with less than a million in chips.

Adrien Guyon raised to 50,000 from the button, then Marle Spragg three-bet to 200,000 from the small blind. In the big blind, Andreas Berggren shoved for his last 70,000, and Guyon called Spragg's raise.

Spragg and Guyon checked on the 9♣10♥3♣ flop. But on the turn K♠, Spragg bet 235,000. Guyon seemed unhappy to fold, but he gave his cards to the dealer.

"One" paired up to ahead on the 6♥3♠2♥ flop but the J♥ turn gave Banicevic the lead, which he held onto following the 6♣ river to secure the KO.

The following hand, Sebastian Schulze opened from middle position before Andraz Gognjavec jammed for 485,000 from the cutoff. Banicevic reshoved as the bigger stack from the button which folded out Schulze.

Tobias Garp had just moved to a new table to take the place of the departed Vlado Banicevic and three-bet to 125,000 on the button his first hand after Mark Helou raised to 45,000 in the hijack.

Helou called and they saw a flop of A♣10♣8♦. Garp then bet 40,000 and Helou moved all in for 520,000. Garp called.

Both players had top pair, but Helou was ahead with his king-kicker as the board ran out 8♣10♠, earning him a double up.

Marle Spragg, Adrien Guyon, and Preben Stokkan built a pot of around 300,000 as they headed to the river on a board of 4♦7♦9♦J♠4♥.

Stokkan was in the hijack and bet 225,000. Guyon folded the button, but Spragg moved all in from the small blind. Stokkan, with around 250,000 remaining, snap-folded and Spragg took the pot to climb above 2,000,000.
