Kyte Flies High With Big River Bet

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jon Kyte
Jon Kyte

Jon Kyte raised to 60,000 in early position and Serge Chechin called in the cutoff.

The flop came 555 and Kyte bet 65,000. Chechin called to the 10 turn as Kyte slowed down and checked.

Chechin then bet 150,000 and Kyte raised to 420,000. Chechin used up two time banks before calling to see the 6 river.

"How much," he said to Kyte as he began tapping the felt.

"One point two million," Kyte answered, sliding in a massive tower of chips. Chechin instantly folded.

"If you didn't say that I was going to bet 800. I was sure you were calling," Kyte said.

Lupuleac Bites the Dust in Wild Pot

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Alexandru Lupuleac
Alexandru Lupuleac

Jon Kyte raised to 65,000 from under the gun before Marle Spragg three-bet to 200,000 from the next seat over. Serge Chechin then called cold from the hijack before the action went to Alexandru Lupuleac, who jammed all in for 800,000.

Kyte asked for a count and tanked for a while before he folded, and Spragg quickly followed suit. Chechin, on the other hand, stuck in a call relatively quickly, with the covering stack.

Alexandru Lupuleac: AQ
Serge Chechin: 1010

"Come on, one time," Lupuleac begged while the 995 flop fell. The 3 turn did not help him either, and the 2 river sealed his fate.

Lupuleac finished in 26th place, meaning the Main Event is one elimination away from a three-table redraw.

Level 24 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Grigorit Rodin
Grigorit Rodin

Mark Helou raised to 65,000 under the gun and received three callers - Jon Kyte in middle position, Grigorii Rodin in the cutoff, and big blind Dejan Jakovljevic.

The flop came 538 and Helou bet 100,000. Kyte and Rodin called, while Jakovljevic folded.

The A fell on the turn and action checked to Rodin who bet 245,000. Helou called and Kyte folded.

Both players checked the 4 river and Helou turned over AQ for top pair. Rodin showed 76 and the dealer was about to push the pot to Helou until Rodin pointed out he had rivered a straight.

"Very lucky guy," Kyte said.

"I knew he had nothing on the turn," Helou replied.

Ramon Colillas Eliminated in 20th Place (€36,780)

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ramon Colillas
Ramon Colillas

Marius Kudzmanas raised his button to 80,000 before Ramon Colillas three-bet to 300,000 from the small blind. Marle Spragg sat in the big blind and four-bet jammed for 735,000 chips.

Kudzmanas asked for a count before rejamming, covering Colillas' 1,710,000 stack. Colillas did not think long before putting in a call as well, creating a three-way all-in situation.

Marle Spragg: AA
Ramon Colillas: AK
Marius Kudzmanas: KK

Colillas was drawing dead after the 44J2 turn, and the 10 river did not bring the last king in the deck for Kudzmanas either.

Spragg's aces held in a massive three-way cooler, tripling her up, while Kudzmanas sent Colillas home by shipping the large side pot.
