Leenen Hits the River to Survive

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Stefan Leenen moved all in for 6,500 from the cutoff and was called by Spanish poker veteran Abraham Serrano from the big blind.

Stefan Leenen: Qx10xAll in
Abraham Serrano: AxQx

Leenen was dominated but had an open-ended straight draw following the J92 flop to increase his number of outs. The Q turn gave both players a pair of queens, but Serrano had the better kicker. The 10 appeared on the river to give Leened two pair for the double up.
